ch, ch, changes

In Loving Memory

They say change is good...hmmm...the jury's out on that one..especially when it's ones job that changes. We went "live" with the new system at work. It looks like a good system except for the fact it does away with my position. It will take time though..there's a lot of clean up to do on the old one...I'll work slowly! :)

Emily remembered on the 11th that it would have been Ziggy's 13th birthday..Man, I miss my dog! When I told David, he cried. Ziggy's death has hit him the hardest.

Easter was unusual this year...I'll leave it that for now..not everyone in the family is current with family news. And, I forgot to take a picture of Emily..she looked so cute in her maternity clothes and her short hair!

Since Ziggy's death in September, there has been one hit after another..I am so thankful for my walk with the Lord and for the people He has put in my life. He never promised smooth sailing, but he promised a way through. Just keep my eye on the prize!

Now if the Mariners could win consistantly!

I was going to try to write something semi-profound, but whom am I kidding that I have any wisdom to pass along!? So, I thought instead of good changes--like the growth of Emily in her first year of school, like your parents finding a wonderful supported-living home, & DJ working his way towards ITT, like the new french doors & deck that will be so enjoyable during the spring & summer months. And the Mariners rallied & won last night! :)
I love you all so much & please let me know if there is ever anything I can do to help.

P.S. Was thinking today about planning Ems' baby shower for the family/friends up here. I thought it'd be fun to invite Andy too. Whatdayathink--August?

Hi,
Thank you for your words...yes, the Mariners win was great...then tonight..Oh Eddie, what's happening to you??? Today was another day..My dad is in the hospital..go figure..I think it's vacation for him. Debbie arrived there Tuesday night..I talked to my Dad Wed. and he was fine...2 hours later he's off in an ambulance...But, my mom, sis and I went out to dinner and spent $150 on it...whee...

Inviting Andy is perfect...I also would like to invite Chris Anderson, Ems Godmother, but in the last year she hasn't responded to any emails I've sent...I'm not sure why..
